When it comes to training your dog, things can get a little bit frustrating. Here are some tips on teaching your dog to sit without getting angry or upset.
1. Don't force your dog to sit. If you push your dog's bum down to the floor, they might get uncomfortable or not understand why you are doing this. This won't help you train your dog to sit at all!
2. Use a clicker! Once your dog sits on it's own, click your clicker and reward your pup with a treat to tell them that they are doing something good. This method works wonders for any trick you are teaching your dog.
3. Take lots of little breaks. When learning, it is hard to focus when you and your dog are so frustrated. Take breaks so that both of you can calm down and rest your mind before training more.
